The voter’s got it 100% CORRECT!
Tim Tebow was the best football player this year. I don’t care if he lost 3-games. If a player has outstanding numbers, leads his team, and the defense allows more points than his outstanding offense, you cannot blame the player.
I don’t care of Colt Brennan had a million passes. He played NO ONE and threw the ball about a billion times a game.
Darren McFadden DID NOT have a complete season. He had 3-4 AMAZING games, but he had too many where he wasn’t at all a part of the game.
Tebow only had one “ok” game, which was against Georgia, and he still managed to put Heisman numbers in that game.
He is the best college football this year. Another season like this and he’ll be the best player ever.

not me that’s for damn sure…..

it would be better if his team is going to a bcs bowl game, oh well…

Kinda, I was hoping that cutie from Hawaii would win. Talk about HOT!
Isn’t the Heisman based on sexiness? No? It should be!

Me, me. I know he deserves it, but that has not always been the criteria by which the trophy has been awarded.
Aside to Not_Here. Are you living under a rock? Of course they are going to a BCS bowl game.

the heisman trophy should have not been given to anyone noone deserved it anyway what is the heisman trophy awarding anyway not the best player in college football because they mostly give to only players on good teams

Actually, I’m a little upset Tebow won. It should have gone to Colt Brennan of Hawaii. (I’m sorry, but a standout from an undefeated team should have the Heisman. Always.)
My boy Dennis Dixon would have run away with it, but he got hurt. Both him and the Ducks haven’t been the same since.
Also, Tebow is only a sophomore. It should have gone to a Senior.

I am happy for him especially because he is a Christian. I am proud that he thanked his Lord and savior Jesus Christ first . I could be happy with either of them.

He deserves it, and then to hear him speak was even better. He was truly sincere, and can’t wait to win it again next year.
Phenom

He’s got the stats and was in very good company. It’s great that a Sophomore was the clear winner of this coveted trophy.

Me. the criteria states that it goes to the most outstanding player (regarless of record) he was clearly the most outstanding player in college football. He ran and threw for a combined 51 touchdowns and is the only player to ever run and throw for 20 tds. He has the highest completion percentage out of all the heisman winners. He has played well pretty much every week against top notch competition (UF is #6 in schedule strength). The other canditates all had notable bad games like McFadden running for only 43 yds on 17 carries against Auburn and having a midseason slump. Daniel struggled mightily against Oklahoma and unlike Tebow and McFadden hasn’t play a lot of tough opponents. Brennen has had an outstanding year, but missed a few games due to injuries + he played a cupcake schedule the entire season.
And Tebow is not only great on the field, but also does his job off the field as well. He is a class act and the voters made the right decision. This year he’s bringing the heisman, the next two years he’ll be bringing national championships to Gainsville.

not me. he didn’t deserve it. yea, he was good but look at his team. they had three loses. Hawaii had 0 loses and Mizzou had two in conference play(the second one was in the big 12 championship game) it should have been one of those people

I’m glad he won. I’m also proud of him for who he thanked first.
