What are the chances that Peter Forsberg comes back to the Philadelphia Flyers for another go around?

A question from a reader: He’d look really sweet on a line with JVR and Giroux at 5 on 5 and the PP would be sick with him running the show.

slim to no freak way man….

considering as the dude hasnt played a full 82 game seasons of hockey in over a decade and he is always getting hurt.. i just dont see any way they would sign him again plus i belive he is already under contract this season

  2. id say hes 99.9% not coming back. the regular season is almost gonna start and i think hes done, he tried it with colorado and it didnt work out

  3. I just can’t seeing it happening. The flyers have almost no cap space and Foresberg isn’t gonna come back and play for cheap. As much as I would love to see Foresberg back in the nhl I just don’t think it will happen.

  4. No way. He’s already got a stress fracture in his foot and he’s not ready for the NHL. Most likely he’s done. His body is too fragile, especially his feet and knees.

  5. The old man has weak ankles and should just retire

  6. no chance

  7. I would say. NOOO! The season is about to start and he is pretty comfortable where he is. However, it would look really sweet, You are right there.

Actually, he has been lacing up the skates for Modo in Sweden preparing for a return to the NHL according to scouts and Sweden reports. In those contests, he hasn’t felt any pain in his X-times reconstructed foot.

My bet is that he WON’T be signing in Philly. The Flyers are up against the cap and the coward that he is, he would be looking for 5 million. To whatever team I would control, that wouldn’t happen.

    Awesome Bill

They’ll “go to the dance” for a while, but if Homer can’t trade away some young prospect to clear up some cap room then Peter The Foot will end up where ever he is wanted the most.
