Which current NFL player deserves a superbowl ring but does not currently have one?

A question from a reader: Who do you think deserve a Superbowl ring? I think LaDainian Tomlinson really deserves on but he doesn’t have one. Or even Brian Dawkins. Who do you think needs one?

  1. Alex Smith of the San Francisco 49ers… No but seriously I would like to see Jeff Garcia get one. Not because he is the best player, but basically because he’s been tossed around the league his whole career

  2. adrian wilson

  3. brian dawkins of the now denver broncos. he has been a model citizen and a dam good football player. you never hear anythign out of him in the media. he always comes to play hard and hits even harder making all the highlight reels.

    LaDanian Tomlinson
    Brian Westbrook
    Brian Dawkins
Not sure if he is officially retired or not, but Junior Seau
Fred Taylor (should get one this year if Brady is healthy)
    Jeff Garcia
    Steve Smith
    Champ Bailey
    Brian Urlacher
    Thomas Jones
    Chad Pennington
    Andre Johnson
I am sure there are plenty more, but those are just the few that I can name off the top of my head.

    The Tennessee Titans select...

    both

  7. i definitely agree with LaDainian Tomlinson … hes an amazing player and great guy off the field too

also i wouldn’t mind seeing Drew Brees get one .. hes a great passer and leader for his team

  8. Honestly, none of them. You deserve a Super Bowl ring for winning a Super Bowl. If you don’t win, you don’t deserve a ring, plain and simple.

I’d really like to say players like Tomlinson deserve a ring, but what have they done to deserve one? They’ve had great regular seasons, but they never won a Super Bowl, and hence are not deserving of a ring.

  9. ii agree with lidainian tomlinson! :)

  10. Adrian Peterson is a great talent but plays on a mediocre team … lets just hope he doesn’t wind up like Barry Sanders

I say Randy Moss, setting the most TD catches in a single game and breaking a lot of records..

LT and B. Dawk deserve this also but I think Randy will his first.

Donovan Mcnabb…always plays hard and yet for a bunch of sh*tty fans!!!

  19. Tony Gonzalez. He works hard every season. Hell, even one playoff win would satisfy him probably.

  20. I believe that Tony Gonzalez deserves an ring. Possibly the best tight end in the history of the NFL

  21. None. You must Earn a ring.
